Thirty one percent of Kenyans sleep hungry- Ipsos
Thirty one percent of Kenyans sleep hungry while 52% do not have enough to eat, a recent poll shows.
The survey, which was conducted by Ipsos, also showed that the economy of 53% of Kenyans has worsened in the last 3 months.
Only 19% of those surveyed reported that their economy has improved while that of 27% others said theirs has remained the same since March 2016.
Speaking while releasing the report, Ipsos Lead Researcher Tom Wolf said the poll further indicates 44% of Kenyans think President Uhuru Kenyatta is committed in the fight against corruption. 37% don’t think he is committed to root out graft, while 18% of Kenyans are not sure.
The poll shows that 64% of Kenyans are aware of corruption under the Jubilee government.
The survey was conducted in between the 4th and 18th of June 2016; 2,067 respondents were interviewed.
