1 dead, 8 injured after bus crashes into vehicles on Valley Road

The accident, a multiple-vehicle crash, occurred after the driver of a City Shuttle bus lost control of the bus and rammed into others on the busy road. The bus plying the Kawangware route was heading to Nairobi CBD when the accident occurred. 

The driver, who fled the scene of the accident, is reported to have warned passengers of a brake failure before the crash. 

A boda boda rider was killed and his passenger severely injured in the accident. 

Police arrived at the scene to conduct rescue operations as the injured were taken to the hospital.
