Popular messaging
application WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows users to add
music to their status updates.
The feature, long
anticipated by fans, blends the simplicity of WhatsApp with the creative appeal
seen on other platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
With the new Music Status feature,
users can now attach their favorite music to photo, video, or text
status updates.
Whether a user wants to set the mood,
share their current jam, or express themselves through lyrics, this addition
gives one more ways to connect creatively with their contacts.
Once a user posts a status with music,
friends will not only see the visuals or message but will also hear the music
playing in the background.
How does it
work?
- Open the Status tab in WhatsApp.
- Tap on Add to My Status.
- Capture or upload a photo/video, or type a text update.
- Tap on the Music icon to browse a wide selection of songs.
- Choose a track, trim it to your desired section, and add it to your status.
