"I’ve always been driven by a desire to push the boundaries of my music and creativity. Signing with UMG EA felt like the perfect opportunity to take my sound to a global platform. Universal has an incredible legacy of supporting artists across all genres, and their vision aligned perfectly with my goals as both a producer and artist,” said Vic West.

“Their resources, reach, and support will allow me to explore new sounds, collaborate with a wider range of artists, and truly elevate my work beyond just regional recognition."

UMG East Africa has been instrumental in championing African artists and producers who are making an impact locally and internationally. The addition of Vic West to their roster reinforces their mission to be a global leader in African music and to strengthen the connections between African creators and the global music industry.
