In a statement, Simple Boy revealed that his attempts to wrest control of his original social media accounts had proven impossible after his former management failed to avail the credentials to him.
Terming the developments as an "unavoidable circumstance", Simple Boy further said that he had chosen to channel his fanbase to a whole new direction.
The statement read: "As an artist who cherishes the unwavering support of the Kenyan media and our beloved citizens, I, Stevo Simple Boy, wish to express my deepest gratitude amidst recent challenges."
"Your steadfast encouragement has been the cornerstone of my journey, and it is with humility that I extend my sincerest thanks.
In recent times, we faced hurdles that tested our resolve. However, we have navigated through these challenges and emerged stronger.
"As we embark on a new phase, I am thrilled to share our renewed vision and plans for the future. It is with regret that I must address the issue of mismanagement and unforeseen circumstances surrounding our previous social media accounts.
"Due to these unavoidable circumstances, I hereby announce the launch of our new official communication channels."
Simple Boy also warned that he would deal legally with anyone attempting to misrepresent him on his old social media accounts, saying that they were no longer under his control.
"Please note that any social media accounts bearing the names "Stivo Simple Boy" or "Stevo Simple Boy8" are no longer under my control," the statement added.
"Any activity on these platforms claiming to represent me is considered impersonation and will be dealt with according to the law."
On the matter of availing his music on streaming platforms, the rapper said that his team was diligently working on various streaming channels where he would soon upload his new music.
"Additionally, I understand the importance of music distribution platforms in reaching our audience. Rest assured, we are actively working to streamline operations on platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, and others. Further details will be communicated in due course," the statement concluded.
Back in March, Stevo Simple Boy collapsed on Live TV during a live appearance on Citizen TV's popular entertainment show, "10 Over 10."
He had just performed two of his tracks - Freshi Barida and Vichuna - when he appeared to bend forward, holding his knees, before falling on his back.
Speaking about the incident, Stevo blamed it on his "manager", saying he was stressed and begging him for a reconciliation.
"Meneja rudi tupige kazi nimeishiwa Nguvu watu wasitukosanishe stress inanipiga mpaka naanguka kwa stage niki perform mnatakuniaribia mpaka manager..." he then wrote.
