Legendary reggae and dancehall hitmaker Sean Paul is set to return to Kenya after 20 Years to headline a concert in December.

The Grammy-winning artist, according to Who Said Events & Win Group Agency, will headline the concert set to be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the Waterfront 2 Gardens, Nairobi Jockey Club.

Known for his energetic performances and chart-topping hits like "Get Busy," "Give Me the Light," and "No Lie," the 51-year-old is expected to raise the temperature and bring the same vibrant energy to Nairobi.

A star-studded lineup is expected to highlight the event featuring a mix of international and local stars.

Attendees will be treated to performances from Kenyan stars such as Redsan, Motif Di Don (Arbantone set), DJ Grauchi, G-Money, Kym Nickdee, DJ Moh Spice, Mish, CNG, and ZJ Heno.

Popular emcees DNG and BV Accurate will be hosting the event, setting the stage for a night full of excitement and fun.

It’s been two decades since the iconic artist graced Kenyan soil in 2004 when his visit turned dramatic.

Sean Paul found himself in a bit of a pickle when he lost his mobile phone and typical of his comical aptness, the incident became a quirky part of his tour story as he joked about the experience in interviews.

"I misplaced it when I was in a hotel and I was asking everybody where, where, where. It was not theft I just misplaced it. So I thought that maybe I could set up an award for the phone for people to bring it back but nothing happened. But big up to Kenya still, much love," he told Capital FM in 2021.

Two decades later, Sean Paul is ready to relive the magic, this time with an expected electrifying experience as he lights up the stage.
