Content creator Milly wa Jesus has now
stretched her money-making ventures and moved into whole new, hitherto uncharted
waters - bridesmaid for hire.
The YouTuber, who, alongside her husband Kabi
wa Jesus, runs a lifestyle YouTube channel with over 600, 000 subscribers, was on
Monday part of the dazzling array of celebrity bridesmaids who stood by
Akothee's side on her big day.
After a festive day that has garnered wide
critical acclaim online, Milly wa Jesus has now decided to further use her star
power to grace other weddings - as long as the cheque is in the bank.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the mother of
two wrote, "Bridesmaid for hire! Mtafika bei? After @akotheekenya wedding
I now have a rate card for being in your line up. I am getting soo many
enquiries on being on people’s lineup so please check the rates on last slide
and get in touch."
She added, "Akothee’s wedding is
definitely the wedding of the year! Thank you Akothee for giving single mums
hope and for sharing your wedding with us we love you!"
As anyone would expect, Milly wa Jesus
doesn't come cheap.
On her rate card, she talks a little about
herself saying that she's, “fun at weddings, comes with a life of the party
husband, has a personal glam team, has huge online presence and is also a good
dancer.”
To hire Milly as your bridesmaid for half a
day, it will set you back a cool Ksh.360,000.
For a full day, you'd have to fork out a fat
Ksh.1 Million check and to hire her and her husband as the day's Best Couple,
it will cost you a steep Ksh.3 million.
It will be Ksh.2 million if you want her and
her husband to line up as a couple; whatever that means.
Besides that, the buxom beauty also offers
other services which include After Party (Ksh.360,000) and posting on social
media for the day (Ksh.1.5 million).
Pre-marital classes, again, whatever that is,
will be free.
Kenyans have reacted wildly to the news with many calling the move far-fetched, but others praising her financial ingenuity.
