Kenyan IG star Elsa Majimbo Signs With IMG Models, WME

IMG Models is a global modeling agency with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Paris, and Sydney.

Alek Wek, Karlie Klossm, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Shanina Shaik, and others are among the top models signed by IMG.

Elsewhere, WME, founded in 1898, is the world's oldest talent agency, with notable clients including Ben Affleck, Whoopi Goldberg, and Denzel Washington.

Despite the fact that Majimbo has graced the covers of every high-fashion magazine imaginable, IMG Models will seek to expand Majimbo's portfolio through global editorial coverage and fashion, beauty, and lifestyle endorsements.

WME has stated that it will take Majimbo's star quality and turn it into a supernova, relying on her 2.5 million Instagram followers, as well as non-scripted and scripted TV, film, speaking engagements, and books.

"Joining IMG models and WME makes sense, because it is only natural for icons to work together," Ms Majimbo announced her new move. 

Apart from being a 15-time chess champion, Ms Majimbo, who now lives in Los Angeles, has also collaborated with Maison Valentino to create a book, The Alphabet for Kids & Adults.
