Jobless man who was dismissed by CS Murkomen finally lands a job
Ephas Musisa, from Vihiga County, has now expressed his happiness at finally landing a job even after his encounter with the CS appeared to have been nasty and unsavoury.
Musisa has secured employment as a driver at the Kenya National Highways Authority Project office in Nakuru.
A thrilled Mr Musisa narrated his past struggles with landing a job, saying that his job was back in 1996 and he had been gainfully employed until 2020 when he lost his job.
He also said that, since losing his job, he endured tough moments with his family until he sought the audience of the Cabinet Secretary as a last resort.
"Hii wiki ikianza ndio nilikutana na Mheshimiwa Murkomen, mimi hanijui, lakini mimi nilikuwa namjua kwa mambo ya siasa," he said.
Musisa also said that, despite the earlier impression Murkomen had displayed, he was surprised to learn that the CS had followed up on his matter - leading to his employment.
"Akaniuliza niko na shida gani, nikasema niko na shida ya kazi. Akasema hapa hatupeani kazi," he recalled.
"Ya kustaajabisha, kumbe Mheshimiwa ameenda lakini ameenda kuniongelea vile nitapata kazi. Alituma watu wake wakaniita."
While speaking from an office and holding what appears to be employment papers, Musisa thanked the Kenya Kwanza regime for finally getting him a job.
"Nashukuru hii serikali ya President William Ruto, ashikilie kabisa. Nilianza kutafuta kazi kwa Rais Moi, nikakuja kwa Kibaki, nikakuja kwa Uhuru, sikuwa kupata kazi," he said.
The viral video detailing the exchange between Murkomen and Musisa was recorded when the Cabinet Secretary met the eCitizen team to discuss the issues that he said had affected the services provided to the public.
