Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman has shouted out a Kenyan artist from Dandora who did a pencil drawing of the actor and posted it on Twitter on February 3, 2023.

Now, more than a month later, the Oscar award-winning actor responded to the artist, who goes by the Twitter handle @pencilartsam.

"Artist Appreciation. Check out this awesome sketch by @PencilArtSam," Morgan Freeman tweeted.

While sharing the sketch, the artist, who according to his Twitter bio is based in Dandora, wrote, "I just finished this today."

He also used the Kenyan flag emoji and tagged the legendary actor.

The sketch features the actor in his trademark self; cloud-white hair, facial moles, a small hoop earring and that all-famous grandfatherly smile.

Morgan Freeman's tweet has already been viewed by over 400, 000 people and stands at a staggering 10,000 likes.

Reacting to the developments, the excited artist wrote, "I am humbled. This means the world to me. Thanks for sharing my talent. Days like this make it all worthwhile."

Besides Freeman, Sam has also sketched other globally-famous faces including the late Takeoff, Chris Brown, Drake and Ayra Starr.

Locally, he has sketched Vinnie Baite, Benawamalines, DJ Mo and more.
