Gospel singer Roseline Damian dies after battle with Cancer
Gospel artiste Roseline Akinyi alias Roseline
Damian has died at 39 years of age.
Roseline’s mother Margaret Achieng confirmed
to Citizen Digital that her daughter died on Wednesday at 4pm while
receiving treatment at the Texas Cancer Centre in Nairobi where she had been
transferred for specialized treatment.
She said her daughter was diagnosed with
Breast Cancer and had been admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH)
before being transferred the to Texas Cancer Center.
Roseline is known for Luo and Swahili hit
songs such as ‘Ruoth in’gama nade,’ ‘Simba Muomo,’ ‘Wuon Osimbo,’ ‘Nipende
Yesu,’ ‘Tukuza Bwana’ amongst others.
On Sunday, January 15 this year, she made her
first appearance on Ramogi TV’S ‘Injili Kalo’ show ahead of her latest song ‘Ruoth
in’gama nade’ video release.
She has left behind a husband and a
five-year-old son.

her death as a blow to the ministry.
