Drama as police called after stranger shows up at Rihanna's gate
The love-struck man, donning a red 'Nike' hoodie, is said to have reportedly travelled from South Carolina to Rihanna's Beverly Hills home to 'propose to the singer'.
According to TMZ, Rihanna's security team promptly called the police and the man was immediately put in handcuffs and placed in a squad car.
Despite the potentially hazardous act, it was determined that the man, of African American origin, ultimately had not broken any laws and was sent away and told not to return.
Despite being spotted on Wednesday shopping for baby items around Los Angeles, it was not immediately clear if the pregnant singer was at home at the time of the incident.
This scary incident comes nearly five years after another terrifying incident where another strange man actually managed to enter Rihanna's home while she was out of town.
Back in May 2018, the Los Angeles police were dispatched to the singer's home after reports of a potential intruder were circulated.
Upon arrival, police found 26-year-old Eduardo Leon inside her home and he had been there for at least an entire day before he was ultimately tackled, tased and taken into custody.
Authorities also added that Eduardo had somehow disabled the singer's alarm system and gotten inside. He apparently even had enough time to unpack his bag and charge his phone during the break-in.
Rihanna recently performed at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show and debuted her second pregnancy to much critical acclaim globally. She welcomed her first child last year with her partner rapper Asap Rocky.
