Oscar award-winning Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o
has caused excitement online after sharing a video of her massaging her father
Kisumu Governor Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o’s feet.
Lupita, in the video posted on Sunday, wrote:
“Happy Father’s Day to the man whose feet I relish being at.”
While enjoying the massage, Prof. Nyong’o can
be seen engaging in deep conversation with Lupita while holding a newspaper;
another person who is however not too visible, presumably his wife, is also
seen seated beside him engrossed in a newspaper.
The video wowed millions of her fans with
many praising her for being an amazing daughter.
The Hollywood actress has been praised for keeping
up with her African culture despite having a very successful career in the
West.
Lupita has written a children’s book titled ‘Sulwe’,
which went on to become a New York Times best-seller.
She has been featured in smash Hollywood
films such as ‘Black Panther’, and became the first Kenyan to win an Oscar
Award in 2014 for her supporting role in ‘12 Years a Slave.’
Lupita further narrated the Discovery Channel docu-series ‘Serengeti,’ which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award designation for Outstanding Narrator.
