Colonel Mustafa speaks on regrets, financial mistakes and spending money on women, parties

Rapper Colonel Mustafa regrets spending his money on women and parties.

The Makolo hitmaker says his biggest regret was not investing, well blaming his poor decisions on stupidity and being young.

In an interview with The Nation, the musician noted that despite the adjudgments he had to make and the struggles he has endured he is grateful for his health and wellbeing.

“Mentally I am good, my mother is also better now. She has recovered from cancer thanks to the media and the fans for the immense emotional and financial support you gave us,” he said.

The musician went viral after pictures of him working at a construction site to take care of his mother who was battling cancer. According to him, since his struggles were highlighted, he has released his comeback EP featuring singles such as Umenikumbuka and Mpe Muda.

“I am now gearing up for amazing collaborations, additionally I plan to delve into fashion and cloth line business,” he said.

Asked about his greatest regret and what he would do better, the musician noted he was not valuing tomorrow. He recalls living extravagantly and spending most of his income on women and parties.

“All I can say is that I was young and stupid, my advice to upcoming artists is to invest heavily while they can. Money and fame come and go, it is upon you to use the opportunity correctly,” he said.

His controversial love life is no secret to his fans. He admits that he did not navigate the love scene correctly. He is currently forcing on the future and his hope is to marry a woman of strong faith and respect him and herself.

“I do not consider myself unlucky, Love has so many different aspects. The past is behind me and I hope to marry one day a woman of faith who has respect for herself and me and also values my family,” he said.
