Burna Boy in 2024 Grammy Awards performers list, to share stage with Billy Eilish and Dua Lipa
The ‘African Giant’ crooner was announced alongside American country music star Luke Combs and rapper Travis Scott on Monday morning by the Recording Academy.
“Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @CBS,” the Grammy organisers wrote on their X handle.
Other performers earlier announced include Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa.
On top of being a performer, Burna Boy is nominated in three categories at the 66th Grammys – Best Melodic Rap Performance for ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World,’ Best Global Music Performance for ‘Alone,’ and Best African Music Performance for ‘City Boys.’
Additionally, two-time GRAMMY-nominated comedian, actor, author, podcast host, and former "The Daily Show" host Trevor Noah will return to host the 2024 GRAMMYs, marking his fourth consecutive year as host of Music's Biggest Night.
Noah, who just won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series for 'The Daily Show', is currently nominated at the 2024 GRAMMYs in the Best Comedy Album Category for this 2022 Netflix comedy special, 'I Wish You Would'.
The 66th Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
