'Any Ruger you see with two eyes is Kenyan Ruger,' Nigerian singer says on eye-patch

In an Instagram exchange, Ruger narrated 'how he lost one of his eyes', saying he has always had vivid dreams of making it to the international music stage.

"All before I lost one of my eyes, I had vivid dreams of being who I'm today right from a very young age. I thank God for taking me to where I'm supposed to be in life. And I appreciate everyone that has taken part in this journey, I love you'all," Ruger said. 

However, a doubting fan responded saying the singer is lying about his eye. 

"Ruger stop lying, all your eyes are perfect. Not lost any eyes, seen it already," the fan retorted. 

But Ruger quickly hit back, making reference to a Kenyan man from Kayole who has been imitating him, saying he is the only Ruger with two eyes. 

"Any Ruger you see with two eyes is Kenyan Ruger," the singer responded. 

This comes days after the Bounce hit maker shared his thoughts regarding the Kayole doppelgänger, saying he is allowed to imitate him as a long as he does not re-engineer his music for gain.

"No, no, no. He's making his P's. Everybody must eat because when my people were telling me have you seen this - No but I say man's just tryna hustle you understand," Ruger said on BBC.

The Kenyan Ruger's popularity has gradually risen, seeing him land gigs to perform in open functions in Kayole.
