Akothee's lover 'Omosh' lands in Kisumu for dowry negotiations

Akothee's lover 'Omosh' lands in Kisumu for dowry negotiations

Akothee elated after receiving Omosh's entourage at the Kisumu International Airport on Monday, January 24.

Singer Akothee’s fiancé Dennis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer touched down in Kisumu on Monday evening to begin dowry negotiations.

Omosh, who hails from Switzerland, landed with much fanfare accompanied by his friends from the Swiss nation as he was picked up at the Kisumu International Airport by the flashy singer and her closest coterie of friends.

The dowry negotiations, which will be held Akothee’s Migori home, are set to take off anytime from this week.

The twosome met in July 2022 while Akothee was vacationing in the wealthy Central European country.

Three months later, Akothee would fall pregnant for her but sadly lost the pregnancy on December 17.

Omosh has now gone further and enjoined himself with many of Akothee's Kenyan businesses even becoming the chairman at her eponymous foundation.

But in a  phone call with Citizen Digital, Akothee maintained that she still remains the ‘President of Single Mothers’, despite the fact that she was about to get hitched and officially leave the singlehood market.

“I love Omosh very much and I could not wait to get married to him and settle down as husband and wife. However, my position as the President of the Single mothers does not change even with my new title. My title does not necessarily mean I am still a single mother, it basically means a woman who has successfully raised all of her children without the privilege of a partner,” she said.

All dressed in cargo shorts, gray branded t-shirts and sports shoes, the ‘Omosh’ entourage looked stoked in photos as they posed alongside Akothee, while they shared wide smiles, laughter and warm embraces.

From the airport, the procession headed off to one of Kisumu's most popular tourism attractions, the ‘Kit-Mikayi’ or ‘stone of the first wife’ and then to Dunga beach to catch some fresh tilapia and ugali.

On Instagram, the elated Akothee wrote, ‘Unaona hawa watatoa Ng’ombe ngapi? Ama tupewe tu Swiss Franc mambo iishe? Mnataka Ng’ombe ama Pesa? Ama yote?”

Akothee, who has run the Akothee Safaris Tours and Travel company for over 13 years has now partnered with Omosh to further push the travel agenda across the borders, bringing onboard her husband’s own Switzerland-based travel company MySafari.
