Being bold and not shying away from asking questions when you don't know the answers are some of the factors Iminza attributes to her rise.

Kenya is one of the leading destinations in Africa for startup funding.

Iminza says the space has a lot of technical aspects to it and she initially struggled to find her footing, but resilience and laser focus saw her work her way up.

She emphasizes the importance of investing in self development, adding that she went back to school to take a course to better understand the venture capital world and its workings.

On work, life balance, Iminza emphasizes creating a support network for oneself as a woman.
