Yields on Kenya 182-day T-bills rises at auction-CBK

The average weighted yields on Kenya‘s 182-day Treasury bills rose at an auction on Wednesday, while the yield on the 364-day bills was down, the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) said.

The yield on the 182-day bills rose to 14.380 percent from 14.180 percent, while yields on the 364-day bill fell to 14.488 percent from 14.919 percent last week.

The central bank offered bills worth a total of 12 billion shillings ($117.53 million) and received bids worth 21.4 billion shillings. It accepted bids worth 9.1 billion shillings.

Next week, CBK offers bills of all maturities worth a total 16 billion shillings in two separate auctions.
