Premier Bank, Mastercard partner to launch Shari'ah-compliant payment solutions

Premier Bank has announced a partnership with Mastercard to unveil a new range of Shari'ah-compliant debit, credit, and prepaid cards, in a move set to revolutionize digital banking in Kenya,

This landmark collaboration seeks to deliver innovative and secure financial services tailored to the needs of Kenya’s diverse population and businesses.

The new Premier Mastercard suite combines advanced features such as contactless payment technology and global acceptance, ensuring that customers can transact seamlessly while adhering to their values and lifestyle.

The suite also offers perks like Lounge Access through the World Elite Card, travel insurance, and exclusive deals with leading merchants, including retail discounts at Carrefour, dining offers through Uber Eats and KFC, and travel discounts with major airlines.

Speaking about the partnership, Osman Ahmed, CEO of Premier Bank Kenya, described the initiative as a transformative step in Kenya's digital banking journey.
