Local content creators are set to enjoy the fruits of their efforts after Smart Africa Group launched a content aggregation platform called Rifaly.

Dubbed as an 'Amazon for Africa Content', Rifaly will target users across the world who are looking for information and knowledge that suit them.

Through the platform, publishers, bloggers, podcasts, influences and storytellers will upload their content and make money every time users download or stream their items.

Highlighting the significance of the platform, Edwin Bruno, Smart Africa Group Chief Executive Officer says content creators now have a platform to monetise their content online.

"Academics, local publishers and online influencers now have a home-grown solution to help them monetize their content online.

"Whether it’s print publications like books, newspapers and magazines, or audio content like podcasts, Rifaly provides a reliable distribution channel and scalable revenue model that meets the user’s needs, at their convenience," note the Smart Africa Group CEO.

Rifaly app is now available for download from the Google Play store for Android users or Apple’s App Store for iOS users.
