KCAA seeks new Director General

The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has kicked-off the search for a new Director General.

This ahead of the exit of current DG, Capt. Gilbert Kibe whose term in office lapses later in June after two successive stints.

Interested candidates have been asked to submit their applications to the authority before the close of business on February 21.

Successful applicants will be required to have at least 10 years of experience in the field of civil aviation, with five of the years served in senior management.

The departing Capt. Kibe has been at the helm of the State agency since June 2015 and previously served as its Director between 2003 and 2009.

He is currently the Chairman of Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Regional Aviation Safety Group for Africa & Indian Ocean Islands.
