John Gachora retained as KBA Chair

NCBA Group Managing
Director John Gachora has been retained as the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA)
Chairperson for the next year.
Gachora has been
retained alongside Rebecca Mbithi who will serve as the bankers’ lobby Vice-Chair for the period 2022-2023.
The two were
re-elected at KBA’s Annual General Meeting held on Thursday which also saw a
vote to reconstitute the lobby’s governing council.
The Council which
has the representation of large, medium-sized and small banks now has new
incoming members including the CEOs of KCB Group, Absa Bank, CitiBank and the
Middle East Bank.
The governing
council members also include all female CEOs.
This includes
Credit Bank’s Betty Korir, DTB’s Nasim Devji and Family Bank’s Rebecca Mbithi.
