Fuel prices remain unchanged in EPRA's latest review for November
The prices of super
petrol, diesel, and kerosene have remained unchanged from last month, according
to the latest review by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA)
announced on Thursday.
In October, the prices
were reduced by Ksh.8.18, Ksh.3.54, and Ksh.6.93 per litre for super petrol,
diesel, and kerosene, respectively.
Under the unchanged
prices that will take effect from November 15 through December 14, a litre of
super petrol will cost Ksh.180.66 in Nairobi, while diesel will be priced at
Ksh.168.06. Kerosene will cost Ksh.151.39 per litre in the capital.
In Mombasa, the prices
will be Ksh.177.42 for super petrol, Ksh.164.82 for diesel, and Ksh. 148.45 for
kerosene.
Meanwhile, in Kisumu,
customers will pay Ksh. 180.68 per litre for super petrol, Ksh. 168.44 for
diesel, and Ksh. 151.82 for kerosene.
“The average landed
cost of imported super petrol increased by 0.54% from US$637.70 per cubic metre
in September 2024 to US$641.14 per cubic metre in October 2024; diesel
decreased by 4.34% from US$636.22 per cubic metre to US$608.61 per cubic
metre,” EPRA Director-General Daniel Bargoria said in a statement to newsrooms
on Thursday.
