This brings the total to 85 total licensed providers since the licensing exercise began. CBK, in a statement, acknowledged receiving more than 730 applications since March 2022.
The entity confirmed that other applications are still at different stages as they await the licensing providers to submit the requisite documents.
"We urge the remaining applicants to submit the pending documentation to enable completion of the review of their applications," the statement read in part.
Further, CBK appealed to the public to report unregulated digital lenders through their official channels.
"The licensing and oversight of DCPs was precipitated by concerns raised by the public about the predatory practices of the unregulated DCPs, and in particular, their high cost, unethical debt collection practices, and the abuse of personal information," CBK added.
