KPL: KCB drub APS Bomet to go top as Bandari hold Rangers

Kenya Premier League (KPL) side KCB went top of the log on 21 points after securing a thrilling 4-2
victory over struggling APS Bomet at Kasarani Stadium on Tuesday in a match
filled with drama and action.
The game saw a frantic
first half, with Aps Bomet taking the lead in the 21st minute through Philip
Wasai’s neat finish.
However, KCB quickly
responded, with Kelvin Etemesi scoring the equalizer in the 29th minute.
Wasai was at it again, giving
Bomet a 2-1 advantage in the 33rd minute, leaving them with the lead at
halftime.
In the second half, KCB
came out strong, with Etemesi again scoring in the 51st minute to level the
score.
Richard Omondi put KCB
ahead with a fierce shot in the 53rd minute, before Etemesi sealed a 4-2 win
with a cracker goal in the 61st.
In an earlier match, Bandari
and Posta Rangers played to a goalless draw at Kasarani Annex.
