Despite evidence that drink-driving is a key cause of deaths on the roads, many motorists continue to drive under the influence of alcohol.
Just this weekend, the National Transport and Safety Authority officials arrested more than 100 drivers for drink driving who are expected to be arraigned in court tomorrow.
As Evelyne Wambui reports culprits have been getting away with a mere slap on the wrist as the country is yet to introduce smart driving licences that would see offenders docked points and eventually banned for such offences.
