Busia: Police confirm identity of body found on the road in Sio Port

Police in Busia County have confirmed the identity of a body found on the roadside.

30-year-old Stephen Odhiambo’s body was found in Namunyweda area along the Mumbaka-Sisenye road.

Odhiambo's body had wounds on the neck and head, indicating a violent attack.

According to police reports, the deceased hails from Aniko village in Bondo, Siaya County.

He worked as a boda-boda rider and had left his home for work, but did not return.

Samia OCPD Richard Moracha stated that the motorcycle Odhiambo was using is yet to be located.
