Administration Police officer Michael Nyawade fell Egyptian boxer Ibrahim Mostafa in a Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) fight at Carnivore grounds over the weekend.

The fight lasted only for four minutes and 20 seconds before Mostafa kissed the canvas.

In another bout, Morris Okolla beat Ugandan Majid Ssali in the heavyweight contest. It was the shortest fight of the night lasting just 44 seconds.

Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, Nairobi women rep Rachel Shebesh and Embakasi West Member of parliament George Theuri awere among the high profile guests.

Part of the purse will go towards the rehabilitation of former boxing great, Conjestina Achieng. The bouts were held at night in the open grounds and were dubbed “boxing under the stars”.
