Fadhili Ramadhani, 36, and Ibrahim Jobu, 26, beat nine other finalists, taking home the inaugural trophy and $250,000 (Ksh.36.5 million) in prize money.
As a member of AGT judge Howie Mandel's dream team, the pair beat out top acts such as The Pack Drumline, V.Unbeatable, Sainted and Musa Motha.
Throughout a competition that started with each “AGT” judge drafting 10 acts to its dream team, the 40 contenders brought new tricks and routines to the show with the hopes of being crowned the best of the best - but only one act could take home that title.
Brothers Fadhili Ramadhani and Ibrahim Jobu simultaneously wowed and terrified the “AGT” judges and audience on “Fantasy League.”
However, the act first started out as part of “AGT” judge Heidi Klum’s dream team — though their time with Klum was short-lived.
For their “Fantasy League” debut, the Ramadhani Brothers put together a gripping routine that started with one brother on the floor, using just his leg to hold up the other brother by the head.
Their mentor, judge Howie Mandel, said their routine was "probably one of the most terrifying acts in [AGT] history".
The pair, known for their daring head-balancing performances, also spoke after the victory, telling various US media outlets that they hoped to use the victory and new-found global fame to help more acrobats in their home country.
"Our lives are changing from this moment," US Today magazine quoted Ramadhani as saying.
"This victory means a lot to us. We are extremely happy. We also want to help other acrobats from our community improve their lives. We'd also like to buy land and build our own homes."
The two acrobats amazed the AGT: Fantasy League judges with acts that involved one of them balancing the other's body weight on his head while navigating different sets.
In the final, one of the brothers climbed up and down a pair of ladders while balancing the other on his head.
They then moved to their second act, where one of the blindfolded brothers climbed a tall ladder while simultaneously balancing the other on his head.
Following their victory, Tanzania's President Samia Suluhu Hassan tweeted her congratulations on X, saying in Swahili: "Your journey continues to show that effort, discipline, dedication and self-confidence are important pillars to achieve success. You promote our country well and set a good example for others."
The Ramadhani Brothers have appeared in several "Got Talent" franchises, including in Australia, Spain and Romania.
Ramadhani and Jobu were finalists in the 2023 main AGT competition, losing to Romanian-born performer Adrian Stoica and his dog Hurricane.
Their "AGT" victory is the culmination of a whirlwind two-year journey. The Ramadhani Brothers originally planned to audition for "AGT" Season 17, but Jobu was unable to obtain his travel visa in time.
In the interim, the duo appeared on several "Got Talent" franchise series, including "Australia's Got Talent," "Got Talent España" and "Românii au talent," which set the stage for its "AGT" debut on Season 18.
The Ramadhani Brothers had everyone on the edge of their seats during their finals performance, which saw the duo take its aerial craft to new heights with an onstage elevator that lifted the acrobats mid-performance.
The adrenaline-pumping routine elicited audible gasps and concerned yells from the judges and studio audience.
Speaking more of the duo's post-show plans, Ibrahim said, "We plan to upgrade our acrobatic training place in Tanzania and buy more equipment."
"We also want to help other acrobats from our community improve their lives. We’d also like to buy land and build our own homes."
The duo also hopes to move forward with a residency in Las Vegas (Sin City) alongside their acrobatic coach.
"Our dream all along has been to headline a show in Las Vegas," Ibrahim told the outlet. "We hope to one day see our faces on billboards."
