Kenya Joins World In Marking World Cancer Day

Stakeholders in the health sector joined members of the public to take stock of the gains and losses made in the fight against cancer as the world marked cancer day. In Kenya, the day was marked at Mukoma grounds in Kitui where those in attendance shared ideas on how to improve general knowledge on cancer in order to beat the disease early enough. The government has set aside twenty-one billion shillings to purchase specialized cancer treatment equipment for hospitals across the country.
