Twahir hails ‘composed’ Mwita after impressive show against Sharks
Caretaker coach Twahir Muhiddin has hailed the impact of Johanna Mwita in the weekend win over Kariobangi Sharks describing him as “one of the best finishers in his current squad”.
Mwita bagged the all important goal that sealed the three points for the Dockers at their Mbaraki backyard.
According to Muhiddin, Mwita is a ‘composed goal poacher’ in the opponents last third contributing to his fair goal return.
“He is a complete finisher capitalizing on every chance and that’s what a striker should do,” explained the veteran soft-spoken tactician .
At the same time the former Harambee Stars coach wants his players to emulate Mwita and show more hunger and thirst in the upcoming matches.
“I think he has set the standard and it’s up to his team mates to follow suit and we will score more goals,” advised Muhiddin.
The January acquisition has so far registered three goals in three appearances since joining the club during the January transfer window.
He opened his account with a brace against KCB FC in their last outing in Machakos. His goal repertoire is seemingly winning Muhiddin over as he was once again picked to lead the line against the Sharks at the expense of Yema Mwana who is yet to hit top form after a spell in the treatment room.
The Coastal based side will now shift gears towards defending the Shield. They host Sofapaka this weekend at home in round of 16 tie
