Popular House and EDM Deejay ‘DJ Lithium’, real name Alex Nderi is dead, after reportedly collapsing at the Capital FM offices where he worked. 

The deejay, multiple reports say, texted several people, including family and friends, telling them that ‘he was gone’. 

He would be discovered later, slumped in the toilet, and efforts to resuscitate him at the Nairobi Hospital where he was rushed, were unsuccessful, according to reports.  

The 34-year-old entertainer who chose the name ‘Lithium’ from a love of Chemistry in High School dabbled in RnB and Hip Hop as well as Afro-house and EDM in his popular radio set. 

He hosted the Club Capital show, every Friday from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM and on Jam Fridays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
