Ndindi Nyoro: We’re now refugees in a government that we formed courtesy of Raila and his team

Kiharu Constituency Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro says Suna East MP Junet Mohamed just spilled the truth on what Raila and team are planning to do if they win elections.

“He saw all that was being said in secret and revealed to us, that is why we know the truth: they are looking for a government just for them,” said Mr. Nyoro.

Speaking at Deputy President William Ruto’s Karen residence where he hosted clergy members from Murang’a County, Nyoro further hailed Junet as a gentleman and a speaker of the truth.

“We believe it is true because the moment they joined us in the other government we had formed, they kicked us out,” Nyoro added.

“We are now refugees in the government we formed in 2017, courtesy of Raila and his team.”

Junet Mohammed sparked controversy after making a remark in Nyamira County last week implying that should Raila Odinga win the 2022 general elections, his government would only focus its efforts on the people of Nyanza County and not Kenya in general.

“Let’s not be nervous, when Baba wins, the government will belong to us, the people of Nyanza. We don’t want the media people to know about this. Mutahi Kagwe might get angry but you’ve had it for twenty years now. This time round it’s the Nyanza people. Mutahi you will come here as a visitor," said Junet.

Junet, however, later said his words were was blown out of context and misinterpreted.

“Campaigns are local and I was just addressing the Kisii people and I was telling them that this time as the people of Nyanza we have an opportunity to lead the country. A Nyanza resident might actually lead the country,” he followed up.
