'We are not dating,' Jalang'o says on relationship with Kamene Goro

  • In a short interview on Monday, the talk show host said he considers Kamene to be his best friend because he spends most of his time with her.

Radio presenter Jalang'o has confirmed that his co-host Kamene Goro has a boyfriend, as he puts rumours to rest of the two having an intimate relationship.

In a short interview on Monday, the talk show host said he considers Kamene to be his best friend because he spends most of his time with her.

“Kamene is my babe, the first woman I see every day after my wife, she’s the woman I spend time with working every day, she’s my person…” said Jalangó on Kiss radio.

The radio host found it to be bizarre and disrespectful, the fact that people would insinuate that the two were dating.

There are things we shouldn’t even think about, it’s so disrespectful for somebody to even think that Kamene and I would be dating, how now? And you actually even go out there and try to justify and support your stupidity with facts…” Jalangó said.

Jalang'o showered praises on the 29-year-old Kamene Goro saying that she’s very hardworking and has come a long way in her hustle.

“I respect Kamene so much, she’s a hardworking woman and if you’ve seen from the time we’ve started working, a lot has changed, she’s pushed herself in the hustle, and everything...” he added.

Jalangó further added that people ought to respect the fact that women grow every day and negative assumptions should not be made regarding the source of their wealth.

“…I hate that anytime when a woman is growing and becoming a better person, people assume that she’s sleeping with someone...we must start respecting that someone can grow…we are not dating, otherwise we wouldn’t even be working together…she’s dating, she has a boyfriend who is even my friend,” he said.

Jalang'o, who has been married to wife Amina Chao for two years now, joined Kamene at Kiss Fm after moving from Milele FM in 2020.

However, he is set to quit the radio show on February 9, in order to concentrate on running for the Langáta Parliamentary seat for the upcoming 2022 elections.
