Kenya Wants ASP To Debate Rome Statue Amendments

Permanent mission of the republic of Kenya to the United Nations Ambassador Kamau Macharia has written to the President of the Rome Statute Tinna Intelmann to consider the issues raised by Kenya on ammending the Rome Statute included in the agenda of the assembly of state parties.

Among the issues raised by Kenya include the postponement of the trial of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto until they are out of office and their excusal from continued presence in court during trial.
