The much-anticipated concert by legendary Congolese musical act Koffi Olomide will not be going down as planned.

The concert by Olomide, real name Antoine Christophe Agbepa, and the Quartier Latin International orchestra had been slated for December 11 at the Waterfront Mall in Karen.

The event has since been postponed indefinitely, and tickets purchased by revelers ahead of the show will be refunded.

The gallery, VIP, and VVIP tickets were going for Ksh.3,500, Ksh.7,000 and Ksh.10,000 respectively.

The event organizer, Aces and Lights Ltd, has said the hiatus will allow them to better organize for future concerts to ensure they meet the standards of all Kenyan musical lovers.
