Teenage sensation Trio Mio rallies Kenyans to attend Raila's Azimio la Umoja event : Baba hapangwigwi

Kenyan rapper Trio Mio has joined the Azimio la Umoja rally hype, calling on Kenyans to attend the much anticipated event set for Friday, 10 December.

The rapper who is in his teens, in a video shared by the ODM leader Raila Odinga, said he would be performing at the Kasarani stadium on Friday. 

The ODM leader also switched up the language, urging Kenyans to attend the event in their numbers in Sheng,  captioning the video: "Trio Mio amecheza kama yeye, nanyi chezeni kama nyinyi' 

In the short video, the rapper who is still in high school, urges Kenyans to turn up for the event, to hear what the ODM leader has to say. 

"Kujeni tuskie the big announcement he is going to make on that special day," he said. 

According to ODM leader Raila Odinga, an estimate of 60,000 delegates and supporters will attend the event at Moi International Stadium, Kasarani.

Raila promoted Friday's Azimio La Umoja conference on Sunday, claiming to have the solutions the country requires.

“Next Friday, hapo Kasarani ndipo nitatoa jibu ya shida za nchi yetu,” said Raila.

“Tuko na wafukara, both rural and urban poor, kazi imeharibika vijana hawana kazi, pesa ya kununua chakula hakuna. Nimezuru pembe zote za hii nchi,” he added.

The Opposition Chief said his unity deal with Uhuru will become clearer during the final lap of the regional consultative meetings in Nairobi.

So far he has not declared whether he will be in the race to succeed Kenyatta. He has however been touring the country popularizing his party initiative.
