Kathy Ouma video of dancing Amazon driver gets 17million views

Kathy Ouma from Middletown, Delaware has had a five-year Christmas tradition. During the holidays, she and her family leave out snacks: bottled water, soft drinks, Oreos and crackers, for delivery drivers who bring packages to their home. They leave them out on a chair at the front with the message: “UPS, USPS, AMAZON, FEDEX – Please take some goodies to enjoy on your route. Thanks for making holiday shopping easy.” Over the weekend, an Amazon driver who has had the job for just three months was shocked when he approached their door. According to CNN, Karim Reed III was so elated that he started dancing. “This is sweet. This is so nice,” he said. Security cameras at the front-door recorded him doing a signature-dance that he later told reporters he has been doing since he was 7 years old. Kathy posted the video on her Facebook page and it has since got 17 million views and has been shared over 12,000 times. “THIS Made my day. The driver is Karim Earl Reed III. You are bringing millions of people joy!’ she said. Her husband, Dr. Jeff Otieno Ouma, also posted the video on his Facebook page saying: It is getting bigger and bigger!”
Kathy later told CNN that when the Amazon driver arrived, she was inside the house, recovering from a recent car accident. “I heard his infectious energy outside,” she said. “He really did make my day. I thought, ‘I am all better.'” The driver left the package at the door, as is the norm, then danced all the way back to his Amazon truck. When CNN tracked him down, Karim further revealed why he had been so excited over the little gesture. He had forgotten to carry his lunch that day and had been delivering packages across the town on an empty stomach. “That held me over for the rest of the day,” he said. When Kathy Ouma was told what the driver had told reporters, she responded: “If I had known, I’d have left him lunch too.”
