Postponed Impala Floodies now set for tomorrow

Impala floodlit organizers have rescheduled the matches that were postponed on Saturday due to power outage to Wednesday, 2nd November 2022.

While apologizing to the fans, players, suppliers and sponsors for "inconveniences caused", Impala floodlit organizing committee chairman Daniel Ndaba said that the Nondies v Impala and KCB v Kenya Harlequin matches will be played on Wednesday with no entrance charges.

"The tough decision to postpone these matches was reached jointly by the organizing committee, clubs and match officials after a lighting failure meant player safety could not be guaranteed. The matches will now be played on Wednesday, 2nd November from 5pm at the same venue."

Ndaba regretted the occurrence saying that they were doing everything to ensure such failures do not recur in future.

"Assessment and calibration works have already begun on the floodlights to ensure that such failures do not recur.

We thank you all for the support you have shown us and look forward to hosting you for an even better experience on the remaining match days."

The rest of the schedule of the floodlit tournament would go on as earlier planned, with the remaining match days being on the 2nd, 5th and 12th November 2022.
