Paarwater confident of good outing

Kenya Simbas head coach Jerome Paarwater is upbeat that his charges will do well in the Hong Kong Four Nations Cup, adding that they are going for nothing short of glory.

The Simbas jet out on Monday for a three day camp before battling it out with Chile in their first game on November 10.

Paarwwater is however bullish that the team can post good performances in the week-long event that will run from November 10-18.

The South Africa tactician said, “We have an important assignment against high quality teams as we look to improve on our results and prepare adequately for our 2019 Japan qualifications.

“We have looked on our weakness and will take each game at a time, our first game against Chile will be a tough one but I’m confident. The second game will be against Russia and we all know they are big boys who can carry the ball aggressively but we are ready”.

He added: “Russia pose as our biggest rivals and obstacle given the fact that we have played Hong Kong and we know what we expect from them.”
