Nakuru out to topple KCB RFC in Enterprise Cup

Top Fry Nakuru head coach Micth Ocholla is confident his charges will upset heavy weights KCB RFC in the quarter finals of the Enterprise Cup this weekend at the Ruaraka ground.

The Wanyores commonly known by their home fans finished fourth in the Kenya Cup and the former Shujaa tactician believes it’s possible to go past the Bankers.

“We’ve a positive mind as always to get positive results although we know we have a hard task ahead of us.”

“KCB is a stronger side so it should be a pedigree and if we have to beat them we need to be at our level best to be able to achieve that fate.”

The last time the two met was in January this year in the Kenya Cup in Ruaraka where the Curtis Olago charges KCB mauled the Nakuru based side 49-6.

“First of all mentally you must be focused and then when it comes to how we play we have to handle the game very well because they can bring us to the park any day having taken us out in the past.”

“But with the boys having a good mind set from the coach instructions anything can change and in a game of Rugby anything can happen.”

The former Shujaa player believes that both teams will take the encounter differently since it’s a knock out match.

“Yes it knock-out stages and we have to face KCB with the right mind set and solid plan so that we can be able to achieve a win, it’s not going to be easy but it can be done.”

With the defending champions Menengai Cream Homeboyz out of the competition new champions are expected at the end of the tourney.

Elsewhere Kenya Harlequins will face varsity side Blak Blad at the RFUEA ground, Kabras Sugar will battle it out with Nondescripts at the Kakamega showground while Impala Saracens will clash out with Mwamba RFC at the Impala club, all matches kicks at 4:00 pm.
