Mbungo hails Wadri, Mulumba after win

Bandari FC head coach Andre Casa Mbungo says the return of Felly Mulumba to their squad will add a lot of value to the team’s defence as they bid to improve on their rough start to the FKF Premier League campaign.

Mulumba played a part in the weekend victory coming on as a second half substitute and Mbungo was full of praise for the towering centre-back and striker William Wadri terming him as ”an asset in his squad”.

The Ugandan attacker missed the last two games against Mathare United and Gor Mahia serving a red card suspension.

“Felly is an experienced defender who has already added a lot in our squad and we hope to see more from him,” said Mbungo.

He added, “Wadri’s return has also rejuvenated the power in our attacking, he has been out for two matches and the difference was felt.”

The former Rayon Sports tactician has also stated that they are still negotiating with the management on the possibility of signing another player to strengthen the squad.

“If I will be given a chance of signing another player of course I will but if not we will carry on with the current squad,” he explained.

Bandari will now shift focus to the FKF Cup where they will be away to Muranga Seals on Sunday before hosting AFC Leopards in a league match at Mbaraki, Mombasa.

Under Andre Casa Mbungo the dockers have won two matches, drawn two and lost one, to sit at position 7seven with 16 points.
