I have what it takes to be the best in Europe Olunga

Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga believes Kenya has what it takes to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Kenya began her bid for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on a sour note losing 2-1 to Sierra Leone in Freetown, but Olunga says they can still make it to the continental show piece.

Talented squad

“With the introduction of 24 teams in the Africa Cup of Nations I believe we have a strong and very talented squad led by the experienced players like Victor Wanyama that can achieve the goal of qualifying for the tournament in 2019,”the Girona striker said.

Stars who are ranked at number 88 in the Fifa grid will host group leaders Ghana in March in Nairobi.

“The new federation has really done its best to improve the team by organizing a number of friendly matches with big teams which has given us a lot of experience,” Olunga added.
