High-flying Ulinzi Starlets hit Kibera in WPL tie

Ulinzi Starlets maintained their winning momentum beating Kibera Soccer Ladies Academy 3-1 in a Women’s Premier League match played Saturday at the Stima grounds.

Captain Neddy Okoth gave Ulinzi Starlets the lead in the 35th minute. However, Kibera Soccer Ladies equalized through Laventine Lihamo, two minutes before half-time.

Two minutes after the breather, Siliya Rahosa put Ulinzi back into the lead as she shot past Kibera Soccer ladies goalkeeper Pauline Muthakye.

Lucy Mukhwana then bagged the third goal for Ulinzi Starlets in the 56th minute with Kibera Soccer ladies several attempts to get an equalizer coming to naught, sealing the win for Ulinzi Starlets.
