Fans throng Nakuru for Quins, Oilers decider

With Top Fry Nakuru awarded a walkover by already relegated Western Bulls in the Kenya Cup, most of their fans are already flocked at the Moi showground Nakuru.

This is after Felix Oloo charges were awarded five points raising them to sixth place two points ahead of their neighbours Menengai Oilers who hosts inform Kenya Harlequins today.

If Quins win the match it means Oilers are out of the playoffs but if the latter comes out victorious, they automatically qualify for the playoffs.

Menengai Oilers head coach Gibson Weru says they are not afraid of their neighbours fans coming to the encounter b adding that their presence will make the match ‘more interesting’.

He added that they will stick to their game plan and believes  they’ll qualify for the playoffs.

His opponent Dominique Habimana said that he will accept any support ahead of the duel and he is optimistic his charges will be victorious.

Top Fry Nakuru head coach Felix Oloo, on his part, said that his charges are preparing for the Enterprise Cup quarter finals next weekend and he believes the best team will win between Oilers and Quins.

The match will kick off at 4:00 pm.
