Gor Mahia coach Mark Harisson says they must work on their finishing ahead of Sunday's clash against AS Otoho of Congo Brazzaville.

Gor left the country this morning for the CAF Confederation Cup playoff clash and Harrison is optimistic of a good result.

“In recent matches we have been creating many chances and failing to capitalize on them. It’s an area we really need to improve,” Harrison said.

Gor have a lean squad of just 16 players registered for continental games and injury to Sydney Ochieng only compounds their situation but Harrison says it’s a burden they must overcome.

“It’s a tricky situation for the team but from the recent friendlies that we have played the their seem to be determination to win and there is healthy competition for places in the starting line-up. I have seen the spirit is high and we are going for nothing short of a win,” Harrison added.

The aggregate winner will qualify to the group stages of the tournament that comes with a purse of Sh35 million.

The match will be played on Sunday at 5.30pm.
