Chesewen face Saints in Rift Valley Games final

Little known Chesewen will face High School football giants St. Antony in the in the boys’ final of the Rift Valley Term Two Games after knocking out Chemase 5-1 in a post-match shootout on Thursday.

St. Antony floored Laiser Hill 1-0 in the other semi-final clash staged at Baringo Boys High School in Baringo County.

Elsewhere,Itigo Girls overran Yemit Girls 6-0 to face off with Gatero Girls from Laikipia in the final. On their way to the final, Gatero edged Wiyeta Girls 1-0 to triumph in the Under-20 category.

In the Under-16 girls’ semi finals, Wiyeta hit Ngeria Girls 5-1 to book ticket to the finals where they will face Falling Water in the finals.

Boys Under 16 semis

Moi Sirgoi and Goseta roared to the finals of the under 16 boys soccer after thrashing Menengai 2-3 and Baringo boys hosts Baringo 3-0 to book tickets to the finals respectively

Girls’ volleyball semis

Kaboson fell 3-0 to minnows Kesogon who have booked ticket in the finals with Volleyball Queens Cheptil,Nandi who upset St.Joseph Chebororwo 3-0 respectively that will see Nandi and Trans Nzoia counties meeting in the finals

Boys’ Volleyball semis

Kaptebee from Uasin.Gishu beat Chewoyot from west pokot 3 sets 0 to qualify for finals with Lelmokwo from Nandi

On their way to the finals Lelmokwo hit Ziwani 3-0

Girls’ Netball semi

Mubere thrashed Nasokol 40-28 to qualify for the finals with Defending champions Cheptil

On way to finals,Cheptil beat Kaptagat 55-28 to cruise to the expected explosive finals
