Bandari coach Mbungo welcomes arrival of Kimani

Bandari FC head coach Andre Casa Mbungo has praised the coaching abilities of Anthony’Modo’ Kimani ahead of his arrival at the Coastal-based club where he will deputise the Rwandan.

Kimani enjoyed an impressive run in charge of AFC Leopards before quitting last week after he was demoted to work under Belgian Patrick Aussems and Bandari have now made a move for him.

The youthful tactician worked with Casa Mbungo during his spell at Leopards and are set for a reunion ahead of Bandari’s home clash against Leopards.

“He is a good coach(Kimani) and if I will get the second chance to work with him we can achieve more”, said Mbungo.

Mbungo has been without an assistant since taking over as Bandari coach early this year.

He was given the mandate by the board to select his assistant who will help him meet the targets

“I am taking my time and not in a hurry to appoint my deputy but very soon we will close the chapter”.

Bandari who kicked off their shield title defence campaign with a win against Muranga Seal will host AFC Leopards tomorrow before another home match against Vihiga United on Tuesday next week at their Mbaraki ground.
