Anthony Kimani unveiled as Bandaris assistant coach

Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani was on Saturday unveiled as the assistant head coach of Bandari FC barely three weeks after quitting his role as AFC Leopards interim coach.

Kimani quit his job at Ingwe, upon the hiring of Belgian Patrick Aussems as head coach but was on Saturday unveiled to the media at the coastal city of Mombasa.

He will deputise Rwandan Andre Casa Mbungo, the man whom he worked under in the same capacity at Leopards in 2019.

His arrival was imminent with Mbungo confirming to Citizen Digital  last week that it would be great to work with the young tactician, having worked closely at the Ingwe dugout, before the former quit over what he termed as ‘contractual violation’.

Kimani is expected to help spur the Dockers quest for the elusive league title.
